I am purple.

I am dark without being dismal.

There are so many variations of me that most people don't know what real purple is.

I am not the color of choice for most people, as I am not conventional.

I am not standard.

Sometimes it's hard to match me with other colors if you are color coordinating.

I am often seen as a flavor rather than a color.

I can stand out around certain other plainer colors.

I have been associated with bruising, with sweetness, with mountains majesty, with anger and with royalty.
